Who Armorsmith Designer is for
Armorsmith Designer is built for cosplayers of all skill levels who want to move beyond guesswork when sizing and constructing costume pieces. Whether you are scaling a downloaded armor model to match your frame, adapting a fan-made PDO file, or designing entirely new pieces, Armorsmith Designer gives you a body-accurate fitting environment and production-ready templates to work from.Core workflow
Every project in Armorsmith Designer follows the same three-stage process:- Avatar — Enter your body measurements to create a 3D avatar that matches your proportions. This avatar acts as your personal fitting mannequin throughout the project.
- Parts — Import 3D costume model files (OBJ, STL, 3MF, FBX, or PDO) and position, rotate, scale, and fit each piece onto your avatar until everything sits the way you intend to wear it.
- Templates — Generate and edit fitted parts that you can then be exported as printable paper-craft template patterns, scaled to your exact measurements, ready for physical construction.
Feature highlights
Avatar Customization
Build a 3D avatar from your real body measurements so every costume part you fit is scaled to your actual proportions — not a generic mannequin.
Accurate Sizing
Parts attach and scale relative to your avatar, which means the template patterns you export are sized for your body right out of the box.
3D Part Fitting
Import OBJ, STL, 3MF, FBX, and PDO model files and manipulate them in 3D space to achieve the exact fit and look you want before committing to physical materials.
Printable Templates
Generate paper-craft template patterns from your fitted parts and print them at home or at a copy shop to begin cutting and assembling your costume.
